Fairy Parties

At fairy parties Trace presents herself as 'The Queen of the Elves' character. This character has a gentle and mystical quality which will appeal to younger and older children. Using interactive storytelling and song, circus skills, face-painting and balloon-modelling, Trace engages audiences of all ages.

These parties are popular with a mixture of girls and boys (you can always tell the boys it's a 'fairy and wizard party' - sometimes the children like to arrive in fancy dress, either as fairies, wizards or the like - this is entirely up to you).

A fairy party runs for a minimum of 1.5 hours and during that time Trace will:

  • Introduce herself to the children and start a fun voice and body warm-up

  • Continue with interactive/action songs (this always goes down a treat with the children and even some of the adults can't resist joining in)

  • Find out what kind of stories the children like - especially of course the child who's birthday is being celebrated, Trace will then choose an appropriate story or stories from her wide repertoire (which ranges from Irish and African myths and legends to fabulously spooky but humorous tales) There are also short but sweet interactive yarns for the younger children who sometimes have a shorter attention span.

  • Circus skills games with spinning plates. Games and tricks to suit the age range and abilities of the children. Should the birthday child be happy to be the centre of attention, Trace will ask them to take centre stage and perform a trick with her

  • Face-painting - if there is a larger group, Trace will paint tattoos of flowers, small butterflies or spider webs on faces or arms. This means every child gets something that they are happy with, without waiting around for too long. Should numbers and time permit Trace can offer full face-painting such as butterflies, flower princesses, tigers warriors, zombies, Easter bunnies, etc

  • Balloon-modelling - again if there is a larger group and time is limited, Trace will make the children a flying mouse or maybe even a sword or flower. Should time allow, children can choose from a wider range of options including helmets and animals

  • And after all that, if there is still time - there is always interactive ball juggling

Please note that the above is simply a guide. If the children are enjoying a particular segment then Trace will continue with that a little longer - otherwise she will move on to the next step. The focus is on the children having as much fun as possible rather than feeling under pressure to include everything.

Should you have a larger number of children 2 hour parties are also available.

Trace asks that while she entertaining the children, an adult be present to supervise.

Clown Parties

A party with Mo the clown runs for a minimum of 1.5 hours and during that time Mo will:

  • Introduce herself to the children and start a fun voice and body warm-up

  • Continue with interactive/action songs (this always goes down a treat with the children and even some of the adults can't resist joining in)

  • Circus skills games with spinning plates. Games and tricks to suit the age range and abilities of the children. Should the birthday child be happy to be the centre of attention, Mo will ask them to take centre stage and perform a trick with her. Sometimes Mo will even ask a couple of the adults to take part in one of her very special circus skills games - this is always a delight for both the children and the adults.

  • Face-painting - if there is a larger group, Mo will paint tattoos of flowers, small butterflies or spider webs on faces or arms. This means every child gets something that they are happy with, without waiting around for too long. Should numbers and time permit Mo can offer full face-painting such as butterflies, flower princesses, warriors, zombies etc

  • Balloon-modelling - again if there is a larger group and time is limited, Mo will make the children a flying mouse or maybe even a sword or flower. Should time allow, children can choose from a wider range of options including helmets and a range of animals

  • And after all that, if there is still time - there is always interactive ball juggling

Please note that the above is simply a guide. If the children are enjoying a particular segment Mo will continue with that a little longer - otherwise she will move on to the next step. The focus is on the children having as much fun as possible rather than feeling under pressure to include everything.

Should you have a larger number of children 2 hour parties are also available.
